After three full months of school, the student mural located in the art hallway is slowly making progress. It is expected to represent a topographical map.
The art department decided to add this mural to make the hallway feel more like an art space. According to art teacher and department chair, Katie Thurston, “We wanted to make it more creative and colorful.”
During the school day, five or six students that are in the Art Club work on the mural, switching off between classes and whenever they have a free block.
The mural is scheduled to be presented on the same day as Encounters With The Arts.
